We are delighted to announce the upcoming 12th edition of Asia Contemporary Art Week (ACAW) New York, connecting over 30 institutions to present cutting-edge exhibitions, innovative projects, and festivities citywide. Conceived as an exhibition in the format of an art forum, FIELD MEETING is once again meticulously curated to explore art as a journey of ideas through timely staging of extraordinary people, their creative process and research. Over 25 of today’s outstanding creative personalities embody their works in the presence of an exclusive audience of New York- & US-based curators, scholars, and museum directors.
 
Curated by ACAW Director Leeza Ahmady, with performances, lecture-performances and lively discussions by:

THINKING PROJECTS: Solo Pop-ups

As an extension to FIELD MEETING 2017, ACAW curates a series of pop up exhibitions highlighting artists' long term process-driven creative endeavors hosted at select Consortium Partners' venues. Nadiah Bamadhaj (Jogjakarta), Guo Hongwei (Beijing), İrfan Önürmen (Istanbul), Yang Xin (Beijing), Judy Blum Reddy (New York), and Sumakshi Singh (Delhi); including Li Jun (Shanghai), Yu Fan (Beijing) and Song Dong (Beijing). 

ACAW Consortium Hosts: C24 Gallery, Chambers Fine Art, Klein Sun Gallery, Mana Contemporary, Sundaram Tagore Gallery. In collaboration with ACAW Asia-based Consortium Partners: Exhibit320 (New Delhi), Richard Koh Fine Art (Kuala Lumpur), Space Station (Beijing). Alongside a special co-presentations of artists in New York in collaboration with Beijing Contemporary Art Foundation's inaugural Creative China Festival
