Galería Barbié is a family-owned gallery founded by Manuel Barbié Gilabert in 1971. The gallery first specialized in Old Master paintings, but in 1998, Manuel Barbié Nogaret joined his father and the focus of the gallery moved to the European avant-garde art, including masters of Surrealism, Cubism, and Suprematism, as well as Spanish Art of the first half of the 20th-century.
For over 30 years, Galería Barbié has sold major paintings and sculptures to private collectors and museums worldwide, and their experience represents a wide range of expertise in acquisition, appraisal, and education.
